In the back of Sookie’s house there is a fairy portal. Niall (Sookies Great-Grandfather) and Dermot (Sookie’s Grandfather twin) use this portal to travel back and forth between realms. Bill appeared there because he drank so much of Sook’s blood. Dermot who is supposed to look exactly like Jason Stackhouse, is after Sookie, and is the one that had her parents killed (which we learn in Season 4 how they were actually killed). Niall despises Dermot, not sure how this is going to play out…
