Sookie Stackhouse, telepath, fangbanger, brother of Jason Stackhouse, best friend of Tara Thorton, and loving granddaughter. Watching Sookie in the first season we learn that she’s a brave little country gal, and as an interesting approach to every situation. As soon as Sookie meets Bill her life seems to be invaded by the supernatural. She’s instantly drawn to Bill, as if he planned it that way. She’s unable to hear his thoughts, which leaves us with a totally smitten Miss. Stackhouse. After meeting and falling for Vampire Bill, she is thrown into a bloody, thrilling world, where she then starts to learn more about her own ‘abilities’.
Sookie appears to have several ‘powers’ throughout the show, but besides being able to read minds, we’re unable to pinpoint what exactly her other powers are.
Sookie loses her grandmother, cat, and fellow waitress friends to serial killer Rene (aka Drew Marshall). Sookie was Rene’s next intended victim, and we watch as he’s full of rage chasing her through the graveyard. Luckily shape-shifting Sam comes to the rescue, and together him and Sookie decapitate him. Bill tried to come to the rescue, but unfortunately for him, it was daylight, and he was roasted to a crisp. But SURPRISE, he survives after Sookie and Sam bury him.
Sookie and Vampire Bill are so in love at this point. They have both saved each others life during season 1, and have grown oddly curious of one another. I’m all about Bill and Sookie at this point, but I’m sure Sookie will have some other gentleman in the running…

Ahh! the suspense really is killing me!! Considering I am only in the first few episodes of season 3 I have no idea about her future love affairs. I do love her and Bill together, very much… but I can’t say I don’t picture her with Eric every now and then
